Stomata 3 vase by Anna Karountzou Dimensions: W 13 x D 11 x H 22 cm Materials: Beige stoneware clay, clear glaze inside, decorated outside with volcano rocks collected from Santorini, fired at 1240 Born and based in Athens, Greece, with a background in conservation of works of art and antiquities, her work is inspired by ancient civilizations and natural settings. Anna started creating ceramics in 2014 after graduating. Conservation has been a strong influence since the beginning. Her way of working was guided by absolute discipline, concentration, attention to detail, patience and dedication. The background knowledge in the science of materials worked as a tools in understanding how to create her own glazes. with focus on vessels that provoke an earthy feeling, combining the ancient with the contemporary. Using materials found in places she feels connected with, her work captivates memories.

Delivery Details
