Tempio del Tempo 3 Watching the passage of time through its effect on materials: wax represents the time of the hours, glass and steel that of the centuries. Candle holder and flower vase in a single object, Tempio del Tempo was conceived as a small altar for the home, created through the union of simple and symbolic shapes that fit together without connections and remain divisible: five stainless steel rings joined together with invisible welding, three pure soy wax candle with cotton wick and three borosilicate glass vases. The removable closures of the steel bases are made of recycled rubber and allow easy cleaning of the product from wax residues. You can repurchase these vegan pure soy wax /olive oil wax candles separately. - Replacing the candle with the vase will allow you to constantly use this object throughout the year, following the alternation of the seasons. - Dimensions suitable for tables as centerpiece - Included: n° 1 stainless steel base, n° 3 rubber closure, n° 3 candle, n° 3 glass vase. A precious objects collection made in Italy with natural and vegan origin materials, conceived by architectural and product designer Coki Barbieri and created by the local craftsmen to expand a new slow living awareness and surround oneself with a few objects, capable of staying alongside us over time. The climate emergency and increased future anxiety push our work to imagine alternative ways of living, producing, and consuming. For that Coki Barbieri uses notions of geology, chemistry, and design culture to create new products (and materials) from fragments and waste from natural products (such as stone and minerals).
