A pair of wine bottle stands from the start-up time, about 1880, from tin - designated: Leuconide No 371 - protected, modeled by A. Reith
Three-footed stand with winged putto heads, wall divided into three fields with flower and foliage and fabile.
with these bottle stands, wine bottles can be presented stylishly at the covered table.
To the history of the "Leukonide and Metalwaren Factory J.P. Kayser Son" in Krefeld:
In 1864, Engelbert Kayser, the Anelest Son of Johann Peter Kayser, had set up a "art-related magazine for use and luxury merchandise" in Cologne, which was flourished in a few years and gave its own look into the contemporary crafts of Germany and Europe. This employment with the handicraft was very important for Engelbert.
In 1885 to 1886, the brother Jean Kayser as heritage of the Krefelder Zinnasserei build the great factory halls for the "Leuconide and Metallwarenfabrik J.P. Kayser son" in Krefeld-Bockum.
The decor comes very well by the combination of polished and blackened tin very well.
