This trumeau with molded wood frame whose original gilding is bronze in color has a composition of catering patterns at the angles, in side parts and on the intermediate crosspiece.
This trumeau is dark of a mercury mirror in the lower part and a canvas in the upper part.
This canvas represents a rescue canoe, the broken mast, taken in the middle of a storm. The crew made up of a captain and two mossillons, tries to keep the boat afloat despite the fury of the elements.
This trumeau, poetic and decorative, will appeal to its authenticity and dimensional.
