Vallauris Pottery Aquarium Lamp Signed Kérina Monaco

A Trompe l'oeil aquarium Lamp, in earthenware and signed underneath. Many versions were made of these “kitsch” lamps, all with fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Many of them in bright colours, typical of the 50s and 60s.
This one has a black and gold outer but the interior comes with every colour of the rainbow, the lamp lights from both inside and above, we have added a small lampshade to cover the top light alowing to see the interior to advantage
The lamp is 18” tall and 9” in diameter and working
