About This Piece

For the creation and manufacturing of this ring, a modern design was chosen, with a sober elegance and an impactful aesthetic, a set of elements that make it versatile and suitable for the hand of any person! But above all it was created using a sort of optical illusion: if at first glance it might seem like a classic solitaire, if we look at it more carefully, and in particular its central part, we can discover that in reality it is decorated not by a single diamond but rather by a group of them; and this is what is called "illusion setting", a method with which it is possible to position and blend the diamonds and the setting so perfectly as to make them appear to be one. Each diamond is positioned side by side, separated by thin, low prongs that practically disappear; the whole set is further held by four external prongs. The shank is a classic, elegant band. The diamonds are all huit-huit cut, and are estimated to total approximately 0.10ct. EPOCH : 80s / 90s SIZE : 10.
