Vintage 9k Yellow Gold Ring with Garnet and Heart Decorations, 1970s

About This Piece

This ring, despite being made with only two materials and with a simple design, manages to reach a high level of charm and beauty. It is fully characterized by a gothic and mysterious taste, which makes it seem to have come straight out of a fantasy story (and if I had to say which one; I would say a modern version of Alice in Wonderland). Decorating this fascinating ring we find a wonderful garnet, of a beautiful dark and intense red, made even more interesting by its emerald cut; it is inserted inside an equally beautiful bezel, with a rather thick and evident rectangular frame, which covers part of the surface. A thickness that has however allowed to decorate the two lower and upper sides with the design of a heart, made with a perfect openwork workmanship. The stem is finally decorated on the shoulders, and the entire setting is in 9K yellow gold. EPOCH : 70s SIZE : 14.5. MATERIALS : 9K yellow gold and emerald cut garnet estimated at approx. 0.50ct. DIMENSIONS : Height: 0,8 cm Width: 1,3 cm Depth: 0,4 cm WEIGHT : 1.7 g CONDITIONS : Excellent condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel.
