Vintage original trapezoidal wood carved slit drum from the Batetela people of Democratic Republic of Congo. Definite signs of age and use which add to the unique and special character of this piece. This type of drum was used to combine rhythm with tones to communicate a phonic language within the tribe.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
