About This Piece

Vintage Design

I propose an object for your home that will make you think of being at the seaside. The great artisan skills of the Murano glass masters have made it possible for you to hold a piece of the sea or ocean in your hand. Made in Italy between the 60s and 70s, this transparent Murano glass prism has a pleasant texture to the touch, which reproduces the rippling of water in nature; and inside, with the sommerso glass technique there are ultramarine and light blue vortices that recall the movements of a seabed. This glass from the mid-20th century modern can be used as a paperweight or for purely contemplative purposes on your desk. Intact and without breaks, it has no signatures or adhesive labels that provide us with information on the attribution, but the great production quality is evident at a glance.
