Vintage Design

The 1950s upholstered chair with a wooden backrest and painted finish paired with a Kvadrat wool seat in a coral color and iron legs offers a timeless elegance. The blend of classic design elements and modern materials creates a unique aesthetic that can complement a variety of interior styles. The warm, inviting hue of the coral wool adds a pop of color to the piece, making it a focal point in any room.

The contrast between the warmth of the wood and wool against the industrial feel of the iron legs adds character to the chair, making it a standout piece in any room.

We have completely restored this chair. Originally it had the backrest upholstered and we decided to recover the original wood but had to paint the back in order to cover the staple holes. We have upholstered the seat with a Kvadrat fabric, (Coda 2), 90% new wool and 10% polyamide, and repaint the iron legs in black.
